A camel safari is the closest you will come to experiencing the life of the Bedouins — that tribe of hardy, mysterious men who crisscross the desert on camel-back, minus compasses or maps. However, for modern man route navigation in the desert (and anywhere else!) is an acquired art, so you must be accompanied by camel guides who understand the shifting sands of the terrain. A camel safari is an exciting way to explore the desert. Always take the advice of your guide about food, water and weather conditions.

Best time to go
The best time to go on a camel safari is between September and March. Avoid the blistering summers.

Air : Jodhpur is the nearest airport. The airport is easily accessible by road.
Rail : Bikaner has number of train links to connect it with the major cities of India.
Road : It is well linked with the big and small cities of India by the national highways and other roadways.
