About Dhamli
Dhamli is a small village located in the Marwar region of Rajasthan. One of the most fascinating places you can ever visit during your Rajasthan tour, Dhamli transports you to a whole new world altogether. It was one of the 12 villages given away by Maharaja Abhay Singh of Jodhpur to Budh Singh of Harsolay in 1780 AD.
Located off the beaten track, Dhamli is a refreshing change for anyone tired of the crowded Rajasthan cities like Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur. In fact, it is a wonderful place to relax in the midst of nature and connect to your inner self. Dhamli boasts of a delightful cultural fabric and a tour around the place evokes a sense of wonder that simply refuses to go away. The village has a rich tribal presence and is indeed a treat to the senses. A visit to the tribal homes in Dhamli is also an enriching experience.
