Nagaur Shopping

When you look at it in the beginning, the lanes of the old town seem right out of medieval souk, bustling with activity and colour. You can pick up some nice clay cooking pots. The local fabrics are extremely interesting and the patterns are very bright. One must-take from Nagaur is its famous red chilli powder, available at any spice shop here at Mirchi Bazaar. The specialty of these chillies is its lovely deep colour, so you need to add a lesser amount to get richly coloured gravy that will not taste too hot either.
