Day 1 Arrive Trivandrum
Arrive Trivandrum. On arrival you will be met & transfer to hotel. Later enjoy the day in the sand. At your choice from any of the centres nearby, you can pamper yourself with herbal, body- toning massage. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 Trivandrum - Cape Camorin - Trivandrum (90 kms / 02 hrs) [B]
After refreshing yourself at the beaches, next morning you will go to Cape Camorin. Visit : Padmanabhapuram Palace –Built in an area of seven acres, is situated in the centre of the Padmanabhapuram Fort, amidst hills, dales and rivers & Vivekanand Rock Memorial - a sacred monument Committee to commemorate the visit of Swamy Vivekananda to “Shripada Parai” during 24th, 25th and 26th December 1892 for deep meditation and enlightenment. In the evening drive back to Trivandrum & overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 Trivandrum > Varkala (35 Kms / 1 Hrs) [B]
This morning after breakfast we will proceed towards Varkala : one of the unspoilt beach resorts of India. You also have an option to go for body therapy overhere. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 Varkala > Alleppey (130 Kms / 3 Hrs) [B]
Drive to Alleppey where you will onboard the traditionally decorated houseboats, you will start a 01 night back water cruise which will end on next day morning.
About Houseboat:
The spectacular beauty of Kerala's backwaters needs no introduction. The backwaters is an elaborate chain of lagoons, lakes & rivers, spread like a necklace through central Kerala and found nowhere else in the world. So the cruise offers excellent opportunity to see the lifestyles of local people living along the large sections of the backwaters of Kerala.
The Kettuvallam (House Boat in Kerala) is a large floating structure with high loading carrying capacity was a part of Kerala's culture and heritage over the past years. Houseboats could sail harnessing wild energy. A journey through the lagoon is interesting, passing through sleepy villages, busy boat jetties and vibrant celebrations. The boat glides across the shimmering blue waters with gorgeous green and fringed edges.
Day 5 Alleppy > Cochin (60 Kms / 01.5 Hrs) [B]
After breakfast, transfer to Cochin. Arrive & check-in at hotel. Afternoon city tour covering Jewish Synagogue – Built in 1568 the oldest synagogue in the commonwealth stands, adorned by hundreds of exquisite hand - painted Chinese tiles in blue & white. St. Francis church Originally, built out of wood in 1503 and thus earning fame as the oldest European church in India. Vasco de gama was buried there. Dutch Palace – As you climb its stone steps, you enter a different world of Palanquins and heraldry, jewels and rich murals. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 Cochin [B] > Departure
Morning after breakfast drive to the airport / railway station for your flight / train to back home.

These trips are priced assuming two travelers. Surcharges for solo travelers and discounts for groups, if any, will be applied. Prices assume itinerary is purchased "as is". Minor changes to hotels or hotel add-ons to the beginning or the end of the existing itinerary can be made at no extra charge.
